Mitch McConnell voted to acquit Donald Trump because he felt it was unconstitutional to try a president who was already out of office. He then took to the floor to eviscerate Trump ... and suggest he could face criminal charges.
You might think McConnell will be punished by conservatives in Kentucky, but he won’t. He’s sorta untouchable. He’s just been re-elected and it seems unlikely he cares about running again in 6 years. He is a political honey badger ... just don’t care.

Many think we are getting a gift from the government with the stimulus packages. Where does the money come from? The government is funded by us. Tough times? Yes, tough indeed. That is part of life. There have always been tough times. Life is generally one problem after another with sometimes a little breathing room in between. That's just the way it is and no one can buy their way out of it. We are enormously blessed in this country. Walk into any grocery store and see the choices and variety. Try that in most other places in the world. End of soap box.
Tough to move on when the left can't leave their target. Trump and MAGA supporters. Anyone looked at Bookers savings plan for children, he's an idiot. Where does infrastructure money come from after ridiculous stimulus payouts and plans like Romney and Booker payouts to children and lets not forget college load payoffs.
Its time to move on. This issue has been looked at from many angles and everyone keeps coming up short. This is political circus. Meanwhile roads and infrastructure is crumbling while we try to figure out which bathroom to use. God Help Us.
Is there a process to remove mmcconnell from his 'leadership position? If so, the republican need to grow some c-o-hones and boot him... whole reason for that speech was to do exactly what it did. It gave the left ammo for 2022 AND 2024, trying to prevent Trump and MAGA from 'coming back'
